“A tour of this magnitude is one that our students will never forget,” says Director Dave Donelson, Ph.D. “The Chorale has received fantastic invitations to perform in some of the most beautiful churches and cathedrals in all of Europe. One of the highlights of the tour will be a performance on Sunday morning, June 27 at the Salzburg Cathedral. With the Cathedral getting 400 requests a week from choirs all over the world to perform there, it is truly an exciting privilege for the Malone Chorale to receive an invitation to sing at this spectacular venue.” In addition to their concerts, the Chorale will also enjoy many sight-seeing excursions, such as beautiful lakeside villages, the salt mines of Hallstatt (Austria), and the fascinating and historical city of Prague.
Members of the Chorale have been working all year to raise the necessary funds for this tour. Donations are still being accepted. Tax deductable gifts can be mailed to the Fine Arts Office at Malone University.
